The frames are coated here, the timber is cut and oiled here, and the cushions are made up here. Nothing is containerised in from somewhere cheaper and finished with a local label. It is the shortest supply chain the product can have, and it is also the reason a piece is built after it is ordered rather than before.

Made to order

Nothing is held in a warehouse. A piece is built once it has been ordered, in the finish and weave it was ordered in.

All year

Nothing is built in advance and nothing waits for a season, so an order placed in July is made in July.

Fifty on order

Fifty per cent on order, fifty on delivery. Those are the two payments.

One master

The approved prototype is the reference for everything built after it. Finish, timber and cushion geometry are checked against it at handover.
