What Mienna Home is
Mienna Home makes modular seating in the United Arab Emirates and sells it directly, from Dubai. There is one geometry underneath the whole catalogue, the pieces are built after they are ordered, and the measurements are printed before the adjectives.
It is not a sofa company that also does modules. There is one system: a centre, a corner, a pouf and a low table, all standing on the same square seat, and every range that follows is those same four pieces with a different structure under them and a different cloth on them.
The seat being square is the whole of it. One corner turned through a quarter serves either hand, so there is no left part and no right part to order by mistake. Any piece sits beside any other, in a line, an L or a U, and nothing needs a filler to close the join.
That is also the reason this site is built the way it is. You arrange it before you buy it, on the same grid the modules are made to, so a layout settled here is one that can be built. Samples of the weave are posted free within the Emirates, because deciding a cloth from a screen is not really deciding it.
A name is not a product until it is drawn. Six of the eleven ranges are names.

The modules are not four sofas. They are one geometry cut four ways, so somebody who understands the footprint understands the whole range, and can add to it later without matching a discontinued model.
Rotation is locked to quarter turns. That is a decision rather than a limitation of the tool: arrangements stay on the grid the modules are drawn on, and two pieces never meet at an angle the workshop has to improvise.

Structures are made and finished in the Emirates and the cushions are made up here as well. The cloth is bought by the studio and handed to the workshop, which is why the weave register is ours rather than a supplier’s.
Made to order
Nothing is held in a warehouse. A piece is built once it has been ordered, at any time of year.
That is what lets an arrangement be the pieces you chose rather than the pieces that happened to be on a shelf, and it is also why the calendar matters: an order placed early in a season is built early in it.
Not settledThe lead time is a fabricator commitment and no fabricator has been appointed. It is not written anywhere on this site, because a number invented for a website is not a specification.
Sold direct
No showroom and no importer between the workshop and the terrace. That is where the price difference comes from, and it is the only place it comes from.
It is also why the site does the work a showroom would: you arrange the pieces before you buy them, and the weave arrives in the post before you choose it.

Eleven range names are fixed and six of them are names only: no design, no dimensions, no date. They are listed rather than promised, because a name is not a product until it is drawn.
Nour, Sama, Rima, Nasim and Hawa are built. What changes from one range to the next is what holds the cushion up and what covers it. Never the grid.

This is here rather than in a footnote because it is the part most brands leave out, and leaving it out is what makes the rest hard to believe.
Not settledThe frame alloy, steel or aluminium, is an open manufacturing decision. The coating film thickness, the salt-spray hours, the lead time and the warranty term are fabricator commitments that have not been made. None of them is written anywhere on this site, and each will be published with the name of whoever stands behind it.
The material register marks every finish that has never been held.

Every range we build is these same four. What changes from one to the next is what holds the cushion up and what covers it. Never the grid. It is why an arrangement can be added to in a year and still line up, and why a range is a choice of material rather than a new set of parts.
The plan on this site works on the same grid the modules are built to, so a layout settled here is one that can be made. Rotation is locked to quarter turns for the same reason.
